Course Content
By the end of this course, delegates will:
- understand fundamentals of the recruitment and selection process
- be practised at writing job and person specifications
- have an understanding of advertising
- have an understanding of telephone interviews
- understand the damage caused by bad recruitment decisions
- have an awareness of the four recruitment outcomes
- have practiced at least four interviews
- be competent at question funnelling and question balancing
- have an awareness of competency-based interviewing
- understand the wider legal implications of recruitment and selection
- be able to review their own performance effectively
- have practiced, using aids, to monitor interview performance
- understand selection centres and other recruitment support tools
